How a Dreamsteading Guide Is Created

1

Research & Planning

Define the reader's question, scope the topic, and identify suitable sources.

2

Drafting & Review

Write for clarity, verify important details, and assess usefulness and safety.

3

Publish & Maintain

Publish with clear authorship, monitor feedback, and revise when needed.

1. Purpose and Scope

This policy explains how Dreamsteading plans, researches, writes, reviews, publishes, monetizes, corrects, and maintains editorial content. It applies to articles, guides, resource pages, recommendations, newsletters, and interactive educational tools produced under the Dreamsteading name.

2. Editorial Independence

Editorial decisions are based on usefulness, relevance, evidence, reader needs, and alignment with Dreamsteading's subject areas. Advertisers, affiliate merchants, product providers, and other commercial partners do not receive the right to approve conclusions or require positive coverage.

Payment, free access, samples, discounts, or affiliate availability do not guarantee inclusion. Sponsored content, if accepted, is clearly identified and must still meet our accuracy and transparency standards.

3. Research and Source Standards

We prefer primary and authoritative sources for factual, technical, legal, health, safety, or time-sensitive claims. Depending on the topic, these may include government agencies, university extension programs, peer-reviewed research, recognized standards, manufacturer documentation, and credible subject-matter organizations.

Sources are evaluated for authority, relevance, date, methodology, conflicts of interest, and consistency with other reliable evidence. We avoid relying on anonymous, copied, unverifiable, or purely promotional claims for important conclusions. Links or source references are included where they materially help readers verify or explore a claim.

4. Writing and Review Process

Content is structured around a clear reader need and written in accessible language. Before publication, important instructions, measurements, calculations, product details, links, safety statements, and factual claims are reviewed in proportion to their risk and complexity. We distinguish established facts, reasonable interpretation, and practical suggestions.

No review process can guarantee that every page is error-free or suitable for every climate, property, skill level, or jurisdiction. Readers should follow current manufacturer instructions, local rules, and qualified professional guidance where appropriate.

5. Experience, Expertise, and Author Identity

Dreamsteading uses the public editorial identity Dreamsteading Editor. The corresponding About Dreamsteading page explains the site's mission, scope, process, and contact route. A faceless editorial identity does not remove responsibility for accuracy, transparency, or corrections.

Content should not imply firsthand testing, credentials, professional qualifications, or personal experience that did not occur. When guidance is primarily research-based, it is presented that way. When direct testing or practical observation materially informs a page, the scope and limitations should be stated clearly.

6. Accuracy, Updates, and Corrections

Dreamsteading reviews material correction reports and updates content when credible new information, broken resources, product changes, safety issues, or meaningful errors are identified. Small spelling or formatting changes may be corrected without a notice. Material changes should be reflected in the page's updated date and, when useful to readers, explained within the content.

To report an error, include the page URL, the statement in question, and any supporting source through the Contact page. We assess evidence before changing published material and do not promise a particular conclusion or response time.

7. Product Recommendations and Affiliate Content

Recommendations should consider suitability, value, important limitations, ease of use, availability, safety, and relevance to the task. Affiliate commission potential should not determine a positive conclusion or replace editorial judgment. Readers should confirm current prices, specifications, warranties, and return terms with the seller.

Pages containing affiliate relationships receive a clear disclosure near the affected content. Read the complete Affiliate Disclosure.

8. Advertising and Google AdSense

Dreamsteading may use Google AdSense or other advertising services to support free content. Advertising is intended to remain visually distinguishable from editorial navigation and recommendations. We do not ask readers to click ads, disguise advertisements as site controls, or permit an advertiser to purchase a favorable editorial conclusion.

Google and other advertising providers are independent third parties. Their presence does not mean they sponsor or endorse Dreamsteading. Advertising technologies and consent choices are described in the Privacy Policy.

9. Artificial Intelligence and Editorial Oversight

Automated and artificial-intelligence tools may assist with tasks such as outlining, language refinement, organization, research discovery, code drafting, image ideation, or quality checks. They do not replace editorial responsibility. Material generated or assisted by such tools should be reviewed, edited, and checked against appropriate sources before publication.

Dreamsteading does not treat an AI system as a firsthand witness, credentialed expert, or authoritative source. We do not knowingly publish fabricated experience, invented citations, misleading images, or unverified high-stakes claims. The Dreamsteading Editor remains responsible for what appears on the site.

10. Reader Feedback and Contact

Reader questions, corrections, and constructive feedback help improve Dreamsteading. Contact the Dreamsteading Editor at hello@dreamsteading.com or through the Contact page. Messages are reviewed, but publication, revision, removal, or individual replies are not guaranteed.
